Vanessa gave a well received workshop on The Teaching Brain at the 2014 Summer Institute at Landmark College. The Institute brought together leaders and learners to talk about new ideas in learning and teaching.
Vanessa was featured on Landmark School's 360 degrees blog talking about her book the Teaching Brain and how we need to redefine perennial questions such as what is a good or bad teacher. Instead we need to ask, what is teaching?
The mission of this consortium is to plan long term neurocognitive studies of the teaching skills in different
environments, from children teaching children to adult teachers in schools and universities, utilizing portable brain equipment to move from the Lab to the classroom.
